How can I turn my wired remote into a wireless remote?
I have a pump with a wired remote that does forward/reverse/off and has a dial for speed control. It has 5 wires that come in to the remote. Two wires go to a set of relays for the forward/reverse/off and the other three go to the pot meter. I would like to turn it into a wireless remote, how would I go about doing that?
To retroactively fit your pump with wireless control will be tedious, and expensive. It isn’t very complicated however, you will need a transmitter controller, receiver, and possibly a servo or two. This is only the what you need expenses part, the knowing how part is the tedious part, and I’m not going there.
