Can I install a USB mouse on an Acer Aspire One running the factory installed linux?
Nowhere on the internet seems to say. I’m a linux novice and I just want to know if it’s going to be possible to install a USB mouse using the Aspire’s control panel rather than anything more complicated. Thanks.
All you need to do is connect the USB mouse and it will start to work, this also goes for USB keyboards and other USB input devices
If you don’t know very much about Linux, it may be a better idea to use Windows, Linux is great and everything, but it can be very hard to use, and you usually have to download software using the command prompt and making download cue files, for some software, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack (finding the executable in a folder full of files, and trust me, it can blend in, as there is not always an identifiable icon), so it can end up being as useful as using what is already preinstalled in Linux, some versions of Linux are easier than others, so some make it easy to download and install software
