How can i detect the audio data from a Dvd Video directly with digital output of a DVD-Rom?
The video file format is DVD video and the film sounds recorded in dolby digital and 8-channels, and the DVD-Rom drived directly without connecting to any PCs.
digital output = the IDE cable or SATA cable.
You can’t do that. Without something connected to the DVD-ROM’s interface, it’s not going to do anything with the discs you put in.
It’s not like a CD-ROM where some could play CD audio without a computer.
The data format of a DVD is much more complex and requires a computer to process it anyway.
You could perhaps get a seriously tiny computer (some embedded computers are a circuit board that is smaller in layout than a DVD-ROM drive) to do the job. A VIA Nano-ITX board is one example, but there are lots of others.
