What is the best kind of knee bandage to get for general support for outdoor sports during the winter?
I had a knee injury this summer (a little over 5 months ago) and there’s some permanent damage to some of the tendons and so forth. I involve myself in many outdoor sports, especially in the winter with snowboarding and running. Particularly considering the cold weather and the pressure that would be exerted on it, I was wondering what the best kind of support would be? Perhaps some kind of knee tape or knit compression sleeve?
Be careful. The last thing you want to do is to limit the blood supply to your toes when you are in a situation where frostbite is possible. I used to ski with a knee brace that worked great until I became allergic to the material that lined it.
