Where can you find lost heat (heat efficiency) in a school building? How can you fix those efficiency? Thanks.
windows – are they double glazed? double glazing is essential! is the oreintation of the windows correct? generally south faced windows, in effect, produce the most solar gain in england.
wall – is it a solid wall apposed to cavity? if so you might want to put external/internal insulated cladding with render finish over the top?
heating- for a sports hall, over head heaters are seen as the best due to space arrangement – having heating around the perimeter is seen too non-economical, also underfloor heating (too expensive to install).
ventilation (not to clued up to be honest) – but look into the passive ventilation and air flow of the rooms. you type that in google and im sure dares loadsa stuff on it!
timber floor – having a timber floor finish is practical for school kids, as day are pretty messy. and timber is a very good insulator of heat.
to be honest i feel pretty sad sitting typing this shit but im bored of studying and awaiting for someone to answer my question dat ive posted.
well good luck
